Do you ever make cards that you just can’t make one of? For me, this is one of those cards. I fell in love with the layout and colors of this card and I just had to make multiples. The thing I love about these kind of cards, is they can be used for literally any occasion. For these I made ‘Birthday’, ‘Sympathy’ and simple ‘Hello’ cards.
The papers on this card are a mix of pretty printed paper and pretty printed vellum. Here they are⬇️
The Floral Delight Designer Series Paper
And the Floral & Gingham Vellum. The vellum sheets are a little thicker than some vellums. This makes it easy to add adhesive under the vellum layer without seeing it. Typically I would add adhesive only under the top layer. For this card I put adhesive on the vellum under the pocket and under the bottom paper layer. The top left corner curled up a little so I added a little tape under the corner and you can’t even see it! woo hoo! If you know vellum, you can totally appreciate that!

For the flowers I used Lemon Lolly and Daffodile Delight inks for the two yellows. The branch is stamped with Pecan Pie and the leaves are stamped with Old Olive. Don’t forget Pool Party for the sprinkles to coordinate with the papers. The Tiny Bees are so stinkin’ cute, too!! These come loose, so I just used a tiny dot of liquid glue to hold it in place.
The last little detail that I used on the card is Wink of Stella!! It’s hard to see, so zooming in to see the shimmer is all I can do. This is a fine glitter that comes in a brush tipped pen. It dries fast, lasts forever and is a must for anything you want to shimmer.
