I Love to create Cards with a touch of ‘Vintage’. The new Lots of Lavender stamp set is great to use for this look!
This stamp set has been designed as a 2-step set…. for today’s card I used the six images shown above to create the bouquet of Lavender. The stamps are made with clear Photopolymer, making it easy to place the dark (above) images in place with your preferred colors.
I used the Sweet Sugarplum ink for the flowers, then added darker petals with the Aqua Painter and Fresh Fig ink. Pear Pizzazz ink is used for the stems and leaves… then I used the Aqua Painter with the same ink to add a little extra depth to the leaves.

The Lots of Lavender stamp set can be earned FREE with any $50 purchase through March 31st, 2018.
To me… ‘Vintage’ means distressing. Taking the New and making it look Old. Our Designer Specialty Papers (DSP) are perfect for this technique!!! They have a white or vanilla core. This picture shows the before and after of distressing the paper with a sanding block. One important note about this: it helps to tape the DSP to a piece of cardstock before you sand/distress to prevent catching or tearing the edges. (although… that looks nice too 😉 )
I also love the look of the layered ribbons on this card. The Vanilla Lace Trim adds another touch of ‘Vintage’ ❤
