WoW – WoW – WoW
Aren’t these colors stunning??? Welcome to day 2 of sharing projects created with the Color Me Happy Project Kit. Today’s cards feature the bold, beautiful butterfly stamp from the Beautiful Day stamp set. For coloring I used the Stampin’ Blend’s combo packs (light and dark) of Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, and Pool Party. I use the dark marker first and then pulled the color out with the light marker. It is so so easy!
Don’t miss your chance to purchase this Project kit… it is available ‘only while supplies last’ … AND rumor has it that the inventory is running low! Yikes! Check out the beautiful envelopes that are included in this kit! I Love the beautiful gold foil trim on the flaps!!!
For both cards I used the large piece of white cardstock shown above. The Gold strip comes from a roll of fine gold tape included in the project kit, as well as the star sequins and the gold circle. By having the pre-cut pieces, it’s so easy to create cards anywhere. All you need is your preferred adhesive. I always include Stampin’ Dimensionals to give layers a lift. The mini glue dots are always good to have on hand, too. They work great for the sequins placed on these cards.
For this card I used both the Night of Navy and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. By using both the dark and light markers, you can see the beautiful watercolor look. To give an extra highlight between colors, I use the Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter (#144608). I used this between the light and dark Night of Navy sections on this butterfly.
The sayings used on both cards come from the Petal Palette stamp set. Both stamp sets used are found in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.
