These stamps and dies make such an awesome statement on any project that you really don’t need any other embellishments.
For this card I used our Silver Foil Sheets for the star blast, our Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate for the back ground, a Versamark Ink Pad for the saying and then our Silver Embossing Powder. Isn’t it stunning? I actually just did this same card for our daughter that attends UWMadison and embossed on our Real Red with the Celebrating You sentiment. Loved it!
Do you have any graduations coming up? The Celebrating You sentiment from this set is perfect for that! Just change the white and razzleberry colors for the school colors of your graduating student!
If you prefer Gold accents over Silver, we carry Gold Foil Sheets, too. I put them in the Ingredients section for you, below 😉 I would like to suggest that whenever you are using sensitive material like these foil sheets, please use a clean Cutting Pad (#113475). If you use a pad that has been cut on, the foil sheets will pick up the lines when it is run thru your Big Shot. (not pretty!).
Let me tell you about the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate… It is double sided!!!! Yes! one side is silver and one side is gold. It is gorgeous! It even comes with a fine plastic sheet covering to protect the design until it is used. This prevents scratches and smears. (fyi … if you can’t see it, it’s on the silver side. just rub the edge a bit and it will release from the acetate. Once you have that removed… it’s even more beautiful!) Little tip on adhering it to your card base… I used two tiny glue dots on the acetate ( note… not behind the foil dots! I tried that and the foil dots came off! yikes!!!) Once I have the acetate in place, I used the two smallest stars, cut from the Star Blast Die, to cover up the glue dots. Wha La!
Isn’t this awesome??? Just take the stars cut out from the large die and sprinkle them around the saying! Love it! Easy Peasy!!!!
