I love to make gifts for special occasions!!! This one was made for a special bride-to-be a year ago. Of course I wouldn’t post this any sooner… I wouldn’t want you to see it here before you got your’s in the mail 😉 Happy 1st Anniversary goes out to Jim & Clare❤️
The first step in deciding what to create is Always the Color!!! It’s easy with weddings and new babies… Just take a peak at the gift registry and you will get a glimpse into what the bride & groom like. You could also look up their page on Pinterest to see what they are pinning!!! Sneaky??? Yup!!! Best ways to find out their interests and a way to help inspire your creative projects!
For this card, I pulled out some of my favorite retired stamps. Can you guess what year Stampin’ Up! made these stamps? … I embossed the dress onto Vellum Cardstock with the White Craft pad and White embossing powder. I used mini glue dots to mount to vellum onto my mint cardstock. Use pearls to cover up the glue dots! A great way to add elegance and also to hide those glue dots 😊.
A simple pack of Thank You Cards can be used for the shower gifts, wedding gifts or kept for the future for house warming gifts, baby gifts, etc… If you think the bride already has Thank You cards picked out or planned with the photographer, make your gift simple so she can use them anytime. For this gift, I made 30 cards with envelopes. You could even add 30 Forever stamps to your gift… Put them in a cute little box and they will have an attractive stationary area for their desk.
Here are some of the current products that I used to create these cards for the bride-to-be. Click on any item below to start your shopping with me 💖
